Guess who's back /4:17 PM

Here I am, three weeks from my last post. Thanks to certain circumstances independent of my control (not counting lazyness) I haven't really been able to blog lately - actually I haven't been able to do much of anything that doesn't relate to collage. However, given that at least for next week things seem to have quieted down, I'm going to take the opportunity to catch up on things.

MANGA

Every since the One Piece crew arrived on the Shabondy Archipelago, I've wanted to see what Luffy plans on doing when he finds out about Ace's execution. This week's chapter finally granted my wish but in a way I rather it didn't because now I can hardly wait for next week's chapter. What's going to happen when he and Boa Hancock board that marine ship? Are they going to reach Impel Down? Will Pandaman ever get to appear more than a fraction of a second?

LIVE ACTION SERIES

I finally managed to finish seasons 6 and 7 of Stargate SG-1 and I'm currently downloading season 8. Damn, this series just gets better and better! After finishing season 6, I re-watched the original movie. I almost fell out of my chair, laughing, when I saw Ra. Besides being a pedophile, he looked like a woman and the guy wasn't even Asian. :)) Also, if I ever thought Daniel Jackson from SG-1 was a geek, clearly I didn't remember how much of a bigger geek he was in the movie. It's actually quite funny. XD And why did Jonas have to leave?!?!?!?!?!?! *cries* I loved the guy!! Bring him back!! One episode isn't enough for me!! *buckets of tears*

ANIME

Not much to say here, just that I started watching D.Gray-man. I'm up to date with the manga and I said that it wouldn't hurt to watch the anime, especially since I've heard from people who've watched it that it's great. So far I've watched only 19 episodes but I was kind of disappointed when so many fillers were introduced so early in the series. To someone who hasn't read the manga they might seem okay, possibly a little above good, but I personally didn't appreciate them all that much, even if they weren't bad. Anyway, right now I can't really continue watching it (fillers ended and the canon storyline is back on track) because my audio device decided to go on strike. >____> I'm going to take it out and see if the audio device that's incorporated into the motherboard will work. I can only hope. *crosses fingers*

Now, I think I'll get off my lazy ass and continue writing that blasted fic of mine which I haven't updated for a month. I hope I won't be tar and feathered for being so late but, hey, like John Lennon (at least I think it was John Lennon) said: "Life is what happens to you when you make other plans."

Monday, bloody Monday /7:28 PM

And yet I'm posting on Tuesday. My name is Sabina, have I ever said that? Anyway, there's a perfectly good reason why I'm posting today (apart from the obvious one that it's not yesterday).

From now on, my posts will most certainly revolve around collage life and whatever is tied to it because my personal life is nil (as if it ever existed). The main thing I have to say right now is that MONDAY COURSES SUCK BALLS!!!11!1oneone!1!! They're lame, boring, mainly useless, lame... did I mention boring? Let's see now:

1.) Literature: HOW THE FUCK CAN LITERATURE BE BORING?! BRITISH LITERATURE AT THAT!! MY ROMANIAN LITERATURE CLASSES IN HIGH SCHOOL WEREN'T THIS BORING!! *breaths* It all begins and ends with my teacher and how she holds the course. Okay, I understand that you have to say a little about history so we can get the feel of whatever social/political/religious environment inspired whatever works we have to study but THE ENTIRE COURSE?! Is this Literature or British History? I think there's a very good difference between the two, right? Anyway, moving on. Besides the fact she talks on end about things that aren't really relevant to the course, her ideas are all over the place. She says something, continues with something else, goes back to something she forgot to tell us, goes forward to something she didn't even begin to explain and we're all in the dark and "Liek, dude, wtf is she talking about?!?!" Thirdly, she doesn't talk loud enough and however sits in the back of the amphitheater (*raises hand* me! me! me!) can't hear squat. Fourthly, she has a weird accent. Now, she has a respectable age so you'd think her accent was good. Nope, she speaks more in Ye Olde English.

2.) LEC: This means Contemporary English, which is basically grammar. This semester I'm doing Phonetics and Phonology. 'Nuff said. How can phonetics be interesting? If someone, anyone has a convincing answer, please, tell me and I shall worship you forever.

The good thing is that after courses I went to a McDonald's with two friends where we made a new friend and I mean LITERALLY made a new friend. XD

Everybody around was looking weird at us but you would, too, if you saw three collage girls make a person out of cardboard boxes and name it, after which you took pictures. By the way, the idea to write "Meet Gomi-chan" on the napkin was mine. XD

Revival, bitches!! XD /12:24 AM

I finally get off my lazy ass to post something new around here. I had resigned myself to the fate that this blog will be deleted since some program seemed to think I was a machine and not an actual person. I don't really get that a lot. Should I go get an X-ray to make sure I'm me and not a nut-and-bolt made, wire entangled, artificial doo-hickey? XD

Anyway, I've been quite lazy lately. All week, for that matter. Today I spend the entire day in front of my computer and watched Stargate SG-1, Supernatural and Alice Nine's "Hello, Dear Numbers Tour Final".

Stargate SG-1: God, I love this show!! O'Neill is so cool he can make the Zorro sign on the event horizon of a wormhole!! XD I'm currently up to season 3 (long way to go, I know XD) and I lurvs eet!! I love O'Neill and his sarcasm, I love Daniel and his silly enthusiasm, I love Carter and how smart she is, I love Teal'c and his junior. XD

Supernatural: I don't know what to say about this week's episode: either that it was funny or that it was so lame it was funny. I admit that I laughed but I don't know why. The only times I do know why was when Dean so flippantly said he was a virgin again (yeah right, keep telling yourself that, Deany boy XD) and when he appeared dressed in lederhosen and Sam said "Hey there, Hansel."

HOWEVER!! I didn't like one thing. As you might have read at my addictions, I'm a ToraxShou fangirl. There were two moments when they hugged (the first was a bit short but hey, Tora had to play, I can live with that) but the second was ruined by Hiroto. >______< Shou and Tora each had an arm around the other and in comes Hiroto, slapping Tora's arm. GRRRR *bites*!!

You can't deny how good they look together!!

One of my last days of boredome /9:38 PM

It truly will be one of the last because Monday I start collage like a real student should. Thursday and Friday was but a little taste of what is to come and if the homework I got is anything to go by, I'm going to be barricading myself in my home until winter holiday. *le sigh* Oh well, this is what I wanted, to learn Japanese, and now I shall have to take the suffering like a man should... Hold on, that didn't come out right. XD




This is a kitty me and a friend of mine found in August. She was so tiny and skinny and flea infested and with an infection at the base of one ear and with the other ear bitten off.... I spent about an hour with my friend's mom washing her and getting rid of her fleas, we took her to a vet and after a few days, my friend decided to keep her. ^_____^ She's gotten so big and fat now and she loves me. XD She really has come a long way.

HOSHI--!! I found some old macros I made when I first joined LJ - I think it was about 2 or 3 years ago. They're from Kingdom Hearts 2 since that was the period when I was completely obsessed with it. Ah, good good times, when I would curse Demyx for wiping the floor with me. XD

First grade all over again!!! =^____^= /5:36 PM

Today was the first practical course for Japanese. I feel like a first grader all over again. XD We started the hiragana alphabet and so far we only did the vowels and ka, ki, ku, ke, ko but by this time next week we're supposed to start the katakana alphabet. I'm so excited! XD
Here's one thing that I don't really believe possible. Our teacher said that he's going to try to make us be at level 3 of Noryokushiken by May or June (level 4 is the hardest). This I just don't believe can be done. Well, who knows? Maybe if I kiss my personal life goodbye, which I know I will do at some point, it can be possible.

Anyway, today was a really nasty day. I woke up early again because I had to go and pay the second installment of the tax for collage and then go with the receipt to the collage secretariat to get my student card. The queues at both places were huge but the one at the pay office went really fast. I had to wait about two hours at the secretariat and I was afraid I wouldn't have time to get my student card because I had to go to course. Through some unexplainable turn of fate, when there were about 7 more people in front of me, the queue started to go really fast. The number of people that up until that point were done in at least 15 minutes, were done in less than 10. I know, not much of a difference but, to me, it counted because five minutes more and I would have had to leave, to make sure I would make it to the course.

Now I'm just giddy and all because I can't help it. XD I'm gonna rest for a while after which I'm gonna go and start practicing what we did today. XD My 'a' and 'ka' look like they were shot, run over by a Buick and decapitated. XD

Nobody here but us retards! ^_______^ /9:35 PM

Here I am, with a blog of my own. I have no idea what came over me but I decided to try this out. Somehow I have a feeling this is another passing fancy and in about two months I'll forget everything about this blog. Oh well.

Today was the first day of collage. Whoa! I got my time table and I managed to get a feeling of how the teachers will be but first impressions are often wrong. I hope these aren't wrong because the teachers seemed pretty cool, especially my practical course teacher. He seemed like the really easy going type, cracking jokes and all the jazz, but serious when things need to be serious. That's good, because I respect a teacher like that.
In total, we're 60 people in our section (Japanese!!!oneoneone11!!1!11!) and we're split in two groups. I'M IN THE SAME GROUP AS ADI!!!! YAY!!! *jumps around*
Tomorrow I'm going to feel like a first grader again, seeing as I'm going to learn the alphabet once more. Not my language's alphabet but still... XD I can hardly wait!! *spazzez all night so she can't sleep*
